He tells her that he has been following her and knows that she went out to lunch with “some guy.” Marie explains that her new boss took her and the other secretaries out for lunch that day. Jack calls her a liar and tells her that her entire family is good for nothing and she learned her lying from them. Marie stays quiet. Jack yells at her, “So you have nothing to say for yourself? I thought you would agree with me.” He leaves the room and grabs the keys out of Marie’s purse, along with her cell phone and her money so she cannot go anywhere or call anyone. She really needs to stop yelling and try harder to control her temper. She decides to make her boyfriend’s favorite dinner and buy a new nightgown so they can have sex tonight.
